Install was a little different than the directions that came with it, but after I figured it out, the intake fit perfectly. Our Armada came used from out of state and the dealer required us to re-smog the vehicle in order to get our plates. The car passed California emissions with no issues. The power increase was definitely noticed right away. The mpg increase was slight, but I am sure it would be better if I didn't have such a heavy foot. I did notice a definite increase during our last road trip where I let the cruise control do all the work. We averaged 19.8mpg over 1600 miles of driving. Way better than the previous 18mpg we were seeing on the highway prior to the intake. The sound is nice and quiet until about 2800rpm. That is when the roar kicks in. My kids love it and it was still quiet enough for them to sleep and not be disturbed.I would highly recommend this to others...especially knowing now that it has absolutely NO issues with CARB/smog!
