I was very skeptical and thought about this purchase for weeks. Ran out of chlorine and being in Souther California, I need a lot of chlorine to maintain a clear pool. I usually put in 2 to 3 pounds per week to keep it blue. I put in 3 pounds last week and this ionizer the next day. The pool is still blue today! Great product and only thing I wish I had was an extra copper tube for when I need to replace it but I've read you only need to do that once a year so it's not too bad if that's the case. I definitely recommend this product. My pool is open all year around and I'm hoping this continue to work this well.
