My AC had intermittent operation. Sometimes the fan would work, sometime it didn't. I thought it sounded like a loose connection, but I checked everything and nothing looked out of the ordinary. I explored a maintenance forum (trailvoy.net) and found what I assumed the problem was. The part numbers had changed slightly, and the product looked a little different than the one I took off, but everything told me it would work... still a little concerning buying a ~$60 part and not being sure that it will work.The installation was a breeze, after you get past the part where you have to cut your old wires and splice these in. I just used crimp connectors, and they seem to work fine. The wiring harness/clip is a little different, but from the looks of my old one - this appears to be a better design (probably explains the change). The heat sink is easily twice as big and heavy as the old one, but fits nicely in the same spot as the old one.I have used the AC for the last month since installing it, and it works great.
