I have an IQ gas system. Trying to find the cannisters is a crap shoot. I decided that I could probably use the parts of the non gas cannister system.Sure enough the components work. I almost went with the separate carbon v5 system. I found these by accident. At this price I figured there wasn't much to lose.Plugged in my new prefilters and this one. This filter fits the IQ like a glove. Not only does the foam keep it snug around the outside so no air by passes the filter , but where the charcoal is (bottom) there is another seal that aligns perfectly with the base. This keeps air from bypassing the filter there too.I have 3 mastiffs and a lot of dust. These cleaned my air in less than an hour to where I don't smell dog, sinuses are clearing , and I no longer "taste" dust.I can't believe no one else has found these. Even if they only last 4 months at this price they are still cheaper than going with the IQ and even most "off brands" More importantly than price though is that they work well.
