Do not buy this housing unit for the Cricut Maker. This is not the right housing for the Cricut Maker. The housing unit measurements for this piece are 10 mm shorter than the original housing units that come for the Cricut Maker. The knife blades are NOT deep cut blades either. They are the standard knife blades that have the 45 degree angle. The Cricut Deep Cut blades are 1.7 mm from the base of the cutting angle of the blade to the tip of the blade, and they have a 60 degree angle too. I don’t know what these housing units are designed for but again, they are not for the Cricut Maker and they are not Cricut Deep Cut Knife Blades. I’m thinking that the blade replacements that came with this unit is probably only good for standard sheets of paper (20 lbs. at most). Don’t waste your time and money with this product.
