This filter runs through so fast and the water isn't crystal clear like the Berkey. I am sure it is taking out some of the impurities but no way is it a Berkey..Don't be tricked. This is not a Berkey product nor is it an exact replacement. Does it filter some things out of water? Probably so. But they should not try to use the Berkey name because the quality is not the same.Water goes thru to fast for it to filter anything out of the water. makes me wonder if it really works.I just hope it worksDo not waste your time, buy the berkey filter. Several times we tried to soak the filters and each time it continued to have sand in the bottom of our glasses. Waste of time and energy. Must take back to a ups store to obtain refund even though it’s a defective product. Shame on Amazon, you should make the seller pay for the return in full. An Amazon buyer should not have to take the product to a store to obtain a refund on faulty products.Great filter at a very fair price comparably.2nd set purchased from Amazon...these are a must item to have for the unknown now gripping out culture...so please anyone that has a portable water purification system, get an extra set of filters...After reading about overseas filters, I stuck with Make in America....
