Product Description

Called "imaginative, inventive, and exciting" in a starred review from Kirkus, the second adventure in the Fever Crumb trilogy is now in paperback. Two years ago, Fever Crumb escaped the war-torn city of London in a traveling theater. Now, she arrives in the extraordinary city of Mayda, where buildings ascend the cliffs on funicular rails, and a mysterious recluse is building a machine that can fly. Fever is the engineer he needs -- but ruthless enemies will kill to possess their secrets. In this gripping sequel to Fever Crumb, master storyteller Philip Reeve creates a riveting story that is unforgettable and delightful at every fast-paced, breathless turn.

A Web Of Air is part 2 of a 7 part story. I read all these a few years ago and decided to read them in order, from start to finish. I'm now approaching the 60% mark of the final book, A Darkling Plain. I'm reading slowly because I can't bear to come to the end. After much thought, I think I can say this was the best series I have ever read. They definitely should be read in their timeline order.Fever CrumbA Web Of AirScrivener's MoonMortal EnginesPredator's GoldInfernal DevicesA Darkling Plain(Yes, really. Better than The Hunger Games and Uglies (2 other favorites).
