These sheets are coated in activated charcoal to remove odors from the air, they look different than the genuine Sharp filters but work the same, if not better, than the originals. Made to replace Sharp Part Number: FZ-A40SFU, FZ-A40DFU Dimensions: 1.3" x 9.4" x 15" Fits Sharp Models: FP-A40UW FZ-A40SFU HEPA filtration captures particles as small as 0.3 microns. If used with carbon pre-filters the HEPA filter can last up to 2 years of regular use. Recommended to be replaced every two years of regular use for best performance. Activated Charcoal removes odors from the air like from cooking, pet odors and more. Recommended to be replaces every 3 to 6 months of regular use.
