I have been using these filters and uv-c bulb last 3 years. They are very good products.I've been using GermGuardians for at least 20 years, I had cats, but no one would ever guess it, the air was always so fresh, the problem is getting the bulb to you, they need to ship it in the box with the filter, it's tiny and twice has gotten lost trying to get to me. When you do have both parts, they are fantastic. I have 2 GermGuardians in my bedroom and haven't had a cold in as long as I can remember. They need to be kept clean, a light vacuuming will double the life of the filter. My complaint is really about selling one unit in two pieces, makes no sense as they can easily get separated, which wouldn't happen if they were in the same box. A very simple fix, I just wish they'd do it.We’ve had the purifier almost 9 mo now. Runs great, quiet. The replacement filt was easy to order and install.
