Started out of the box with a BANG but afterwards scent is barely noticeable in open areas. Will not buy again.It's too bad that these just don't last very long (not at a level where they are really "working"). But the scents are generally really good. Since they are not effective for very long, they end up being a bit pricey. Have not found anything that I like the scent of better, though.They definitely don't eliminate or absorb odors. Like any air freshener when first opened the scent is fairly strong so it can mask some odors but it smells fairly cheap and the scent isn't strong for very long. I definitely wouldn't buy again.We have it near the front door for a pleasant smell at entry to the houseThey certainly don't last the claimed "up to 60 days", but still a good value compared to others I've tried which don't last any longer. Really like the scent on this one as I'm not crazy about things that are floral nor too sweet.I love these air fresheners! I've purchased them for over five years for my home and office. I get many compliments about the nice fresh fragrance they subtly spread throughout the air. I even keep one on my nightstand for that occasional whiff of delight.These are not over bearing with the smell. You don't smell them unless you get right close to them. They seem to absorb bad odors OK. I use in car and home.Does not remove odor from air and causes headaches be careful with the substance that is in the container and definitely keep away from pets and children I don't recommend
