This is my second order of the MERV 13 filters and even though the recommendation is to change them out "every 1 to 3 months", I recommend changing them monthly. They're so efficient at removing pollutants from the air that allowing them to go longer without changing them would likely result in your air handler working harder to push the air through the increasing level of trapped contaminants.
