They really work...put them in direct sunlight outside for 4 hours, then put one by our kitchen garbage, one in bathrooms, one in living room and one in bedroom...whole house smells great, and I have Asthma, so glad no perfume smells. I am buying more!!I love my carbon bags! (i ordered 3 of them!) First, they came the day after I ordered them, in a great little environmentally conscious package. I was able to tie them to my kitchen trash can, a shelf in my closet, and my home music studio. I bought it mainly to help me control the odor problem of you of my kitchen's trashcans as it was getting out of hand. I am happy to report the odor is not only under control it's simply not a problem anymore.In my closet, everything stays dry and fresh and in my studio, moisture is not something I worry about anymore!My favorite part? Was when I read that when it feels I need a new one, to just placed them out in the Sun to get recharged (???) Sounds like a super hippie comment, I know, but it actually works. It seems I will be using my natural air purifiers for year s to come.This helped clear the kind of stagnant odor from storage closets .I live in a woodsy area, and I can breathe a lot better now.I was reading about a natural way to purify the air at my home and I came across these bags.I loved them, definitelly a keeper.
