I bought these to air down the 33 inch BFGs on my Cherokee when out 4wheeling. I like the fool proof and simple design. Absolutely no moving parts. Just remove the valve cap, screw these deflators on, and they hold down the valve stem to release air. To stop deflation, simply unscrew the deflators until they no longer depress the valve stems. When you achieve the desired pressure, remove the deflators and screw them together to make one unit. When I air down, I usually screw them all on the tires at once. Then I wait about aminute since they let out ALOT of air. Then I go back and unscrew the first installed deflator since it's been on the longest and quickly check where the pressure is at with a good gauge. If it's close to the desired pressure, I'll quickly go to each other tire and unscrew the deflators to stop the air down process. Then it's just a simple matter of releasing the air slowly out of each tire to achieve the desired pressure. Easy peasy lemon sqeeezy. Why do I like these? First off, there's no moving parts to wear out. They're made of heavy brass, so they should last a long time.Secondly, you don't have to loosen or remove the valve stems and risk losing them. If you lose a tiny valve stem and don't have extra, you've just screwed the pooch.Third, the four deflators screw on and off each other to make one unit. It even comes with a key ring. Easy to pack away, easy to carry.Sooo...Are there better and more expensive deflators out there? Yep. But most of them require you to loosen the stems as I mentioned earlier. Dont much like that idea. Some let you check the pressure while the tire is deflating, but for the price, I'll just turn mine a few turns and check it with a gauge. So simple. Dont over think these things, people. Simple and reliable is what you should be concerned about. These deflators screw together and pack away in a size not much bigger than a sharpie pen. They might take a couple minutes longer to use than the fancier types, but in the extra time it takes, you SHOULD be inspecting your rig as you do your walk around. Fuel for thought, and my 2 cents.fantastic productI go offroading often and air down from about 35 PSI to 15 PSI for sand, and around 20-25 PSI for rocky roads. This thing is great and makes it easy to air down all four tires at the same time. Its very fast, so I have to keep a close eye on it to not go too low. The coolest thing is its easy to put a tire gauge on it to check the PSI without having to take them off. It's a really cool , inexpensive, convenient tool for us offroaders.I'm very pleased with this product. It is handy to always have with me and not have to search through my Jeep to remember where I put it. It deflates all four tires easily and at a steady rate. As others have mentioned, I start with one tire and wait about a minute before starting the next. This gives me time to check the tires and get all of them perfect. The package I received also included a Teraflex keychain which looks nice. This is also well made and very sturdy.UPDATE:I have been using this for about a year and it has worked very well for deflating my tires. I have used it many times and have only good things to say. My biggest complaint is the way that the individual pieces tend to loosen. I liked the handiness of having it on my keychain, but eventually I lost one of the pieces and had to just store it in my Jeep console to keep from losing anymore pieces. I would continually tighten it, but it didn't keep me from losing one.***********************************************************************************************************************************************I rely on reviews when I make purchases so I put a lot of time into reviewing everything I buy on Amazon for personal and my business. Please show your appreciation by clicking the "yes" below when it asks if the review is helpful!!!Just used it for a trip to Pismo. I have a Siverado 2500 with tires at 62/72 psi front/rear, and 4 trailer tires at 65 psi. These made airing down all the tires to 20 psi a breeze, by myself. I had considered purchasing the more expensive ones that you can set pressure to, but I'm glad I saved the bucks and went with these. I started with one tire on the truck and put these on each truck tire consecutively. I had plenty of time to return to the first tire and check the pressure with a standard gauge, as it was releasing air.. Took a few minutes for the pressure to get to my desired 20 psi, which then I moved to the next tire and did the same, until all the truck tires were completed. Then I moved to trailer. I was done before the other rednecks were done next to me, using 4 guys and screwdrivers/keys.Lost my first one off my keychain before I got a chance to use it due to a bad carabiner... ordered a second one and finally got to use it. It made airing down much more convenient and quicker! I would buy it again if I lost this one too. (I did get a locking carabiner after the first one...)This is especially nice to have in the winter because the air is so cold when letting air out manually.Love these. I can deflate all 4 tires at the same time which is super convenient. Keep an eye on your pressure because they let the air out quickly. I love how you can check the pressure without removing the deflator .Works great. A must-have for airing down on the cheap. If you off-road, you'll need these. I used to use an ARB valve stem puller to air down when hitting the trail but after having it fail on me after a couple trips and having my fingers freeze off during snow wheeling use, I opted for something much simpler. With these I can air down all four tires much quicker and still attach a pressure gauge while deflating in order to hit the sweet spot.As advertised, work perfectly. Would love to see something from Teraflex in this price range with adjustable valves you can set to preferred PSIThese are awesome for deflating. I have TPMS on my 17 tacoma so its easily monitored for my air pressure! I go around on all 4 and within a few more seconds after i come all back to the first tire the air pressure is low enough for me!Seguido voy por caminos de arena y me ha resultado muy útil esta herramienta para bajar la presión de las llantas.Has these for a year. They deflate tires fast enough and are simple to use. Pass-through design lets you stick a pressure gauge on it to check pressure while the deflator is on the valve stem.
