I’m pretty much an OEM person but the economy and cost of things has really impacted that. For frugality reasons, I decided to give this a try as we love our Blueair +211 Auto but man, one filter every six months is hefty. We received these well packaged and down to a small thin white box. Ready to go.Install time. When you take them out, you have to rotate them into their square ship and honestly, they don’t lock as satisfying as the OEM. That said, filter and carbon quality all look the same. I took out the old filter, vacuumed out our Blueair unit, placed this in which was as smooth as the original and off we go. Here’s my notes:- I haven’t noticed any sound difference.- I haven’t noticed nor found reason to test against this filter. It’s catching the particles which I can tell, air feels clean and a couple indoor cooking spells showed our Blueair cranking up and dispelling cooking, Smokey smells or other odors, cleaning them as fast.- I have noticed it more often than not, kicks up to the higher speeds or amber light more frequently. Nothings changed in our house and it’s really uncommon.All in all, giving this a win and I recommend going this route if you need to be frugal like we did.
