I added this to the retractable air hose reel attached over my welding table. I occasionally need a small grinder and an air gun. It was a bother changing air hose connections in the middle of a job. I installed the input from the compressor into the bottom hole, added a female connection in the lower front hole and a male outlet on the upper front hole. Had to go to Lowe's and buy a 1/4" plumbing ball valve to install behind the male supply point so I didn't just blow air 100% when nothing was attached. Upper hole feeds the hose reel above. I had no issues at all with the threading of the holes. I did have to buy reducer fittings for the top and bottom holes since my air hose fittings were smaller than the block holes. Again, found them in Lowe's plumbing section.
