I was fighting algae and cloudiness in my pool for about a month. I'd add clarifier and it would be clear for 5 days or so and then get cloudy again. And then start to turn green again. I was shocking it with chlorine, scrubbing it and vacuuming every other day to no avail. I got it clear again and dropped this in. It's been crystal clear ever since! I went away for 5 days and didn't even run the pump and the pool didn't turn green while I was away!The pics spek for themselves. Love this thing!Update - I gave been using this for almost 2 months and it just keeps working! I scrub the ionizer's copper once a week and that's it for maintenance on this thing.I vacuum about once a week, add chlorine tablets to my float once a week and I rarely even run my pump (about once a week, but mainly because it feels like I should?). My chlorine levels are always very LOW (since I don't need to keep them high and my water is super clear anyway). This thing is saving me time, effort and money. I can't recommend this highly enough!I had a lot of problems with algae in my pool last year. I spent a ton of money on products and still battled clarity all summer. I cleared it up this spring but I didn't want to deal with the issues I had last year so I tried this. I am using much less chlorine this year and absolutely zero algaecide. My pool has been crystal clear all summer. I'm going to guess this has really helped with keeping my pool clear!As many others have stated I was also skeptical. I have algae growth and go through 20 bags of shock per year but since using this product starting in May I have only used shock 8 times and have used less chlorine in my floater... love this product, saved me time cleaning and moneyWorks like they said it would took about a week but clear pool amd less.chemicals. would recommendReally work as described, get water mold out.So far, this product is doing for my pool like it states in the description.
