This is the first book by Timothy Trimble that I have read, and as long as he keeps writing, it won't be the last. After I bought the book, I got through a few pages and got torn away from it. Once I went back to it, I refused to put itdown until it was done; even though it was 3 in the morning! I have always enjoyed the fantasy of human flight and I can honestly say this this book has brought me closest to experiencing the actual feeling that I have ever come. I have always believed that a good author can make you feel more than any movie ever could and Timothy Trimble proves that with the beautiful descriptions and marvelous prose found in Airborn. In addition to that, the innocent and pure romance story is a sweet, rare find in today's literature. As an adult, I thoroughly enjoyed the story and how it made me feel as if I experienced the newness of young love and the discovery of life and one's own talents; but I also feel totally comfortable with handing this book to my 9-yr old son and letting him find his own joy in it. Thank you Mr. Trimble for the wonderful ride! Can't wait for the sequel.
