This switch operates the light and fans up in the box. I was having issues with the freezer not coming down to temp fast enough. Played with the charge for years thinking it had a slow leak. After vacuuming the system down and refilling with the correct charge. Problem still persisted. I noticed the condenser coil fans not running when the door was closed and compressor was running. As I opened the door, the fans flickered on and off. Then when I closed the door, the fans would randomly cycle on and off or stay on. Replaced the rockers on both sides and the problem is gone. The old rocker was just about 15 years old.
