Immediately after businesses opened up after Covid shut down, I was seeing this purifier in small places at my dentist (exam room, as well as public bathroom), as well as doctors office. I decided to purchase 1 to use in addition to my large room air purifier, for a small space that didn’t have great ventilation. We only used it for 2 months and then went to our Florida home. When we came back to Chicago this summer, it wouldn’t work. No light, no fan. Since it was within the 1 year warranty period, I Sent an email to customer service, and they responded within a couple of days. Asked my for copy of receipt, as well as questions of the issue I was having. Received a replacement within a week after our communication.I am glad to see a company back it’s product and provide good customer service. Minimal back and forth, with no push back just fact finding. I will purchase other products from this company in the future, as many of its products are highly rated. Good to know that if I ever have a problem with the other items that they will honore the warranty.Bought this for use during travel after worst of COVID. Have found the thing does a good job on hotel rooms everywhere we traveled. At night you may have to reposition due to light unit gives off. I prefer to move unit to different places around room anyway. The airflow is felt on the top side while operating. In larger rooms you may need two units to clean the volume of air. As soon as we enter room it gets set up and runs during entire stay. Bulb life around 4000 hours. So you can take a good number of trips or run at home. It helped knock down some strong cleaning odors in a couple places ! Replacement bulbs run around $11.00. It seems to help air in room based upon pre installation then after installed and working. Some effect may be placebo in mind due to what we all have gone through. But I have not experienced any breathing issues since using. Which I did experience in some rooms before use.GG1100W - This thing does a very good job at 'de-stinkifying' the air around a cat's litter box. I was a little skeptical that something this small would actually work. After running this overnight at an outlet a few feet from the cat's litter box, I am a true believer. I normally get up in the morning and fire up some wood scented incense to mask the litter box odor that accumulates overnight. This morning was the first that I could not smell the litter box at all.You can hear some fan noise, kind of like a PC's fan on low. I was worried that the cat would not like it but this morning she was sleeping on a chair a few feet away. No problem there.You will need to replace the bulb at least once a year. The replacement bulbs are very reasonably priced, I ordered a set of two for about $10.For what this is, it seems a little overpriced. For what this does, it is absolutely worth every penny. ;). I now own two of these.Y'all. I plugged this thing in yesterday about 3 feet from the litter box my two cats share. I had high hopes, but with a rather large helping of skepticism. These cats, man...they are adorable and cuddly and I love them to pieces, but they the absolute stinkiest cats I've ever owned. Yes, we've tried switching food/litter. Their litter box funk overrides every air freshener or odor remover or candle I've tried. In addition, our house is 116 years old, so it gets that lovely musty old house smell that's more noticeable some times than others (like in the warm, humid summers of Indiana). Our litter box is located next to our washer/dryer which is essentially in our kitchen. The room is approximately 220 square feet. Due to the layout of our house, the litter box is oddly in close proximity to the kitchen, our bathroom,and our bedroom. So the smell travels well.So, I get this thing in the mail yesterday, and immediately open it and plug it in. We had to leave for a cookout right afterwards. Came home 4 hours later and...the first thing I smell is NOT the litter box, for the first time in approximately forever. I intentionally left the litter box un-scooped before I plugged it in, so I could get a more accurate sense of how well it worked, if that makes sense. As of right now, I'm convinced it's made of magic and unicorn dust, because I cannot smell the litter box without standing directly over it. Incredible.About the gadget itself: it's roughly the size of a box of Kraft Mac and cheese. Yes, it emits a blue light from the front and top. I can see where it could be disruptive to those who are light-sensitive if it were located in a bedroom. But it's no brighter than any of the nightlights I own. Yes, it makes noise. It's a very unobtrusive "shhhhh" sound that is similar to (and no louder than) the fan in a computer. Tabletop/oscillating/box fans are louder than this. (Then again, I'd probably gladly take the odor-removing properties of this thing even if it sounded like a jet engine.)All in all, I'm amazed. We're getting ready to leave for a 10-day vacation here soon, and I'm always shocked at how musty and litter box-y my house smells when we come home from an extended trip (even with someone housesitting and cleaning the box regularly). So, if by some chance, I'm just imagining how well this thing works (with some nose-blindness thrown in), I'll know for certain here soon and will update my review. But as it stands...I'm not regretting a single penny I spent on it.For the Germ Guardian GG1100W….. I had HUGE HUGE HUGE doubts on this. we have tried 2 robot litter boxes that both cost over $400 each and they STUNK (in a lot of reasons besides the given) but THIS….. you’d have no idea we have 4 cats and just 1 large litter box with amazing litter. we still clean out the box daily but we just couldn’t keep up enough but the Germ Guardian GG1100W HAS BEEN AMAZINGGGGGGGG!Excelente contra las alergias al ácaro y esporas de moho. Desgraciadamente es frágil como para andarlo moviendo. A mi me funciona perfectamente como metodo alternativo en lugar de los antihistáminicos.Nota: no trae cable para recarga USB.Si vives en algún lugar en un ambiente muy húmedo, el moho tiende a construir. Esto es lo perfecto para un dormitorio o un gran trastero.Tengo 3 de estos ahora y me encanta que no haya más moho ni mal olor provenientes del condominio en México y que nuestros allegados no tengan más bebedores ni problemas debido al ambiente húmedo.no se como lo puedo comprobar pero si valen la pena y tiene una conexion de usb para conectar cualquier dispositivo, el aire si se ciente diferente al respirarlo, lo uno malo es que el ventilador si hace ruido con el tiempo te acostumbras.Limpia pero necesita estar en un enchufe por seguridad, no se puede usar con extensiónMe gustó al principio de dos semanas de ahí dejo de funcionar ya no le sirve creo que el filtro compraré el filtro y si veo que no me sigue funcionando lo acabaré por tirar a la basura
