?MATERIAL SAFETY: MS Reverse Osmosis (RO) membranes are made from 100% food-grade Thin Film Composite (TFC) material for ultimate purification performance with high permeate flow, tested by an independent third-party to meet NSF/ANSI 58 standards, providing safe-clean drinking water.
?HEALTHY DRINKING: 150 GPD RO membrane with a high 97% stabilized salt rejection rate. Hundreds of impurities are reduced by over 99% through the 0.0001-micron TFC membrane layer, including heavy metals (fluoride, calcium, magnesium, lead, colloids, chromium, and nitrates), organic materials, and harmful minerals, including other soluble salts found in water resources.
?UNIVERSAL MEMBRANE SIZE: Industry-standard element size 12 x 2-inch, designed to fit in standard 1812/2012 residential-style RO membrane housings utilizing a 2-inch internal diameter. Suitable for most Home Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration system and Maple Syrup filter systems.
?WIDE COMPATIBILITY: Reverse osmosis water filter replacement for standard membranes including but not limited to Dow Filmtec TW30-1812-100, AXEON TF-1812-100, Desal TFM-100, Express Water FLTMEME100, FS TFC TFC-2012-100, iSpring MC1 and systems including Koolermax AR-122, LiquaGen 150 GPD.
?LONG-LIFE: The membrane element, shipped dry in an original sealed package, has a life expectancy between 24 to 36 months, based on average feedwater quality, temperature, and incoming water pressure.
? Tips: Recommend work pressure is 100 psi when using this product in a Maple Syrup reverse osmosis system. And we suggest heating and maintaining the raw sap at 104°F(40°C) to prevent clog on the membrane while keeping it under 113°F(45°C) to avoid damage to the membrane due to over-high temperature.
These work great. Easy to installI was having a difficulty finding this particular filter for my five stage reverse osmosis under the counter water filter system, I found this one on Amazon and was a little bit trepidatious when I place the order as I was concerned that possibly this filter may not fit exactly, however that being said the filter arrived very quickly ....I had a previously changed the sediment filter,, the charcoal filter ,,the activated charcoal filter ,and the reverse osmosis membrane in my filter,,, I installed this filter ,,put it all back together ,,the system worked perfectly and now my water is fresh and great tasting,, and I received an email from the seller wanted to make sure that my filters were okay and asking me to let them know exactly what filtration system I had so they can update their records and possibly help other people which I thought was pretty okay..... again thank you...I run a pair of 50 GPD RO membranes in parallel in a modified Watts Zero Waste system. I used other budget membranes before but they didn't last very long before restricting the flow to the point my pump broke. I used Watts membranes for about a year and they still flowed well but the TDS readings started to creep up to around 18. Just put these in and they started out with about 300 TDS which is normal. I ran 5 gallons though them and the TDS fell down to 6 on one and 8 on the other. So far so good. These are made quite well and do hold up. Yes we would order them again. This item is an exact fit for my GE RO water filter system. I believe these RO membranes are standardized and fit most units. I tested the water with a TDS meter after installing this membrane and flushing out my tank 2 times and the results are 0.01 to 0.0. So that's good. The water tasted just as good as the original stuff. I did change out the 2 carbon block filters along with this. The pH was unchanged from the tap and the filtered water when I tested with a ph test strip. For a fraction of the cost to replace the filters on my Reverse Osmosis System, I purchased these filters from Amazon. To my surprise, these were the same filters that I previously paid nearly $200 every year to have a "water filter specialist" install for me. After watching the guy install 5 new filters last year, I decided I can do it myself! It took me nearly 2 hours, but I figured it out. Next year I will probably get it done in 15-20 minutes. The water is perfect! These were used to replace a stock membrane on a Brio Cabinet RO Filtration system (which is 90% similar to all the other budget Cabinet RO Filtration systems). These appear to be notably better than the stock membrane, and after flushing the system for about 2 hours to get rid of air bubbles and any surface impurities that may have snuck into the out-bound lines, the water quality taste is much better than that of the original filters too.Yes, you have the filter wrench that came with your R.O. system but you may need a second ,completely different wrench to hold the filter body. I used Vise Grip oil filter wrench pliers very gently. Not included but needed:When you replace the other filters you will need Teflon tapeOn the "O" rings you'll need Silicone "O" ring grease, NOT Vaseline.
