Product Description

The LoadController series is Air Lift's economically priced on board air compressor systems. It inflates, maintains and controls air springs on light-to-medium duty vehicles for maximum convenience and leveling on-the-go. The versatile compressor system makes it easy to adjust your air spring pressure for changes in load or road conditions. This is Air Lift's most popular compressor and air control system for trucks, vans, and SUVs. All kits include Air Lift's exclusive wiring harness for fast, easy installation. For increased safety and to eliminate the major cause of air spring failure, the Low Pressure Sensor automatically activates the compressor if air spring pressure falls below the minimum safe level. Air Lift on board air systems are the most advanced in the industry and work with all brands of air springs. Single path systems will infalte/deflate the bags together and is ideal for evenly weight-distributed loads such as tow-behind trailer, camper or similar. The air springs will inflate at the same rate at the same time. Dual path systems will inflate/deflate the bags independently and are for uneven loads that need adjustment from one side of the vehicle to the other, such as uneven in-bed loads, or for more advanced leveling capability. With a 2-Year Warranty if self-installed, or a 4-Year Warranty if installed by an Authorized Installer, the easiest installations, and best-in-class customer service, it's easy to see why Air Lift air helper springs are America's favorite. Air Lift Company has been developing air spring suspension products for over 70 years and is dedicated to making suspension products that fit, work, and last.

At first they sent the wrong model for my truck. Then after returning it they sent me a defective compressor. It took 4 months for Air lift to replace the defective compressor. When the replacement was delivered a hose was cracked and another had a pin hole in it so I had to buy new hoses myself. Now it works fine but it was a hassle getting it right. I suggest you get an authorized Air Lift installer to do it in case there’s a problem. I’m sure an authorized Air Lift installer will get the parts faster if there’s a problem. After all is said and done I love how it works.I bought this because I tow my RV a lot with my 2018 F-150. It sags in the back once I got everything loaded in the bed of my truck. I have an equalizer hitch but it still squats from the truck bed weight. Installation was easy and straight forward. The directions are good. When installing the air lines in the push connectors I push them all the way in then twist them both ways to help seat them to insure no leaks and I had no leaks. There is plenty of air line. I would pick up some extra #12 electrical cord/wire, I needed it, about 6 to 7 feet. I also need a fuse holder. The kit 25854 did not have one, it had the fuse but no holder. I installed in the gauge and controller in the dash because I wanted a factory look. I installed the gauge were the four wheel drive selector would go, I have 2 wheel drive. I had a coin holder there so converted it to hold my air lift gauge controller.I like the analog system because there is no interference in the signal. With wireless systems I saw reviews with to many problems. With an analog system is fully enclose and those wireless problems will not be there so it is more reliable.I highly recommend this system. I have the Air Bag 59570 rated for 2000lbs . I tow 4400lbs with a truck bed weight of about 400 to 500lbs. The ride when empty is great even better than stock, I keep the air bags about 10 psi. I have not towed with this set up yet going on a 1000 mile trip next month I will up date. One other thing to air up the system with the a/c on you cannot hear the compressor, with a/c off you can barley hear the compressor. It is a very quiet system. This review is made in reference to installing Air Lift Kit 25856 on a 2015 Silverado 3500 dually. This kit comes complete with everything needed to install, minus the air bags themselves. Installation should be done by someone with experience and the proper tools. To work properly and trouble free, the air lines must be cut square to the tubing and inserted fully into the fittings. I used a tubing cutter and found it necessary to remove the burr it left inside the tube to ensure a tight air leak free seal. Over all, the product is well made with a few exceptions. The "Y" fitting used at the compressor is plastic and mine broke easily when installing. A metal fitting would be better and far more durable. Also, as someone else mentioned, the light inside the gauge is not replaceable, so if it burns out, you'll be left in the dark. Speaking of the light, it comes pre-wired into the line that feeds the compressor. If you want the light to operate with the dash lights, you need to clip the power going to the gauge light and wire it into the dash lights. As with any installation of wires or air lines, car should be taken to route them away from potential sharp edges or heat. Also, running the air lines and compressor power line through the firewall requires cutting into the large rubber up-fitter's plug (see photo). After making a large "X" cut with an Exacto knife, I used a six inch screwdriver to poke a hole in the inside seal, then stuck a wire coat hanger through to attach both the air lines and power wire. Pulling the coat hanger back out brought everything through the plug as planned. When comparing the kit to the Firestone product, I rate equal with less cost. Perhaps Firestone is charging more for the name. I don't know. And a side note here: someone complained about the rubber smell of the air emptying into the cab when you deflate or adjust the bags. If this is serious problem for you, don't buy the Firestone system either because it works the exact same way. To me, it isn't an issue. This is not a difficult installation if you have the proper tools, experience using them, and can follow instructions. If any of those three things are a problem for you, I strongly recommend having the job done by someone else. One should have working knowledge of electrical systems on there vehicle if DIYI installed this in my 2000 F250. I don't write reviews but after reading the only other review I thought I should because it way wrong. The whole key to success with this product is you have to be able to screw A light bulb in right the first time. I used A razor knife that they use to cut carpet with because it is big ,very sharp and easy to square with the tubbing. Not A single leak. The wiring was very well put and had no trouble understanding it. The gage was broke. It had A slight dent in it so assume it was mishandled. They sent me A new one immediately with A RMA #. Did not have to pay first. They just trusted that I would send it back. The compressor is not designed for continuous use as none of them are. You have to buy A continuous duty system with A tank for that propose. I am not A mechanic, I just read the directions and figure it out. I have no affiliation with air lift. I retired from the fed. penitentiary and once asked an officer to hand me A phillips screw driver and he did not know what it was. Maybe the last reviewer worked there. I should say that the gage is very well lit and easy to see. I own A very complex air gage that mechanics use and the pressure readings on the gauge seem very accurate. They gave me plenty of hard ware to install it. I think they could provide some clips or "L" brackets so that the compressor could be mounted with some self tapping screws rather than having someone inside the truck holding the wrench on the other side. For this I just fabricated my own. The plastic bracket that holds the gauge to the dash was not good. I broke it and found one much better in my junk box in the garage. Over all if I ever buy again I would buy the same thing.I bought this product a month or so ago and it is working well. When I got the box it looked like it was handled by a freaking gorilla it was smashed up. Upon further inspection everything was there so I continued to install it. Compressor works good and all the airlines were intact, but once everything was on the gauge was leaking. They wouldn’t take the product back because it was already fitted to my truck. The gauge was also wrapped in pink bubble wrap instead of factory sealed in a bag like everything else. I’m pissed I had to spend an extra 100$ because I was sent a pre opened gauge and not informed about it. Would not recommend this product to anyone because of this flawNe fonctionne pas, j'ai installé sur mon RAM 3500 dually des airlift arrière de 7500 lbs, le contrôleur gauche a 10 lbs d'écart avec le droit, et quand je veux ajusté les ballons indépendamment , il se dégonfle ensemble, pas au point leur systemeles deux low pressure sensor fonctionne apparemment , mais il me faudrait un autre contrôleurArrived on time as stated. Well packaged. Easy to install on my 2012 Dodge 3500 dually. Had airbags previously installed, so only involved wiring (great detail), splicing of existing air lines, and mounting gauge and compressor. Took me about 4 hrs taking my time. The complete package works awesome. I love the control of the gauge and visual knowledge of what the air bags are doing while in transit. Instant control at my fingertips at all times. Gauge has a fairly bright light at night travel. Compressor is quiet mounted in the inside floorboard compartment. Highly recommended!!Great kit. Everything you need to install an on-board compressor for your airbags. Compressor is a bit noisy but only runs on occasion to keep the bags at minimum inflation. Can select 5 or 10 psi min pressure and when hooked up properly will only pump bags when ignition is turned on.Light in gauge is very bright but can be dimmed if hooked up to interior dimming switch. ''Installed in Dodge rear seat under floor storage compartment (which actually hangs out under the cab) keeps it out of the way and actually reduces compressor noise. Installation is moderately difficult but easily done with common tools.Good value for the price, especially when combined with the Airlift 50 dollar rebate.
