3M Supplied Air Respirators are designed to deliver clean air to the work environment and offer many advantages over traditional respiratory protection, such as its cost effectivenesss in providing a high level of respiratory protection, the range of supplied air that can be cool or heat air by up to 50°F (28°C), no filters, cartiriges or batteries to maintain and providing no additional breathing resistance to the wearer. These respirators operate from high pressure plant air systems, or low pressure pumps (must be Grade D or better). The air is delivered into a variety of faceshields, hard hats and helmets.
