I had it for about a month now and I think it needed a break in period... It seems to provide more air than when I first installed it. I'm running a dual sponge filter and a 30" led bubble wand in an 18" deep tank. At first I had to turn up the pump to about 3/4 power to get the bubble wand bubbling sufficiently now it runs everything on the lowest setting which is super quiet.... I hear the bubbles.. not the pump. On the highest setting I can hear the pump. I hope it holds up for the long run.I do recommended this pump if you need more power than the basic pump.
