This is actually my 2nd one now. I ordered the first one for a 1st gen ipad air and now for a 2018 6th gen ipad.The protector works well with my case (nearly had to hold my breath) thought for sure it would crack when I clamped my case together.It is thin enough to work well with the Apple Pencil, although a plastic type protector like the xtreme or invsishield would probably feel more "grippy" and more like paper to draw with.Both of my protectors arrived with no damage.Possible problems: Unlike other protectors - if you lift it back up to re-apply - you will probably break it!So get it right the first time! Follow the video on their website, even though the video demonstrates installing on an iPhone, the process is identical. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS EXACTLY.I messed up the second time and accidentally put the glass on the wrong way round when applying the assistive stickers. The stickers started to peel the protective film off, so I had to manually install it, it was nerve wracking. So don't make this mistake - or you will have a bad time.Luckily after the 2nd attempt, it went fine.You do have to be patient and coax any bubbles out, this process can take a while, but it is worth it. I have found glass protectors look much nicer and are much less likely to have bubbles.Since I haven't had either of the 2 protectors for very long, I can't comment on the durability or scratch resistive qualities of this product, but so far I am very happy. Unless something changes my mind, this is the product that I will be ordering again, when I need a new protector.As far as the ease of install, this is probably one of the best brands you can buy. I am not sure if others include what they include. I did NOT use their alcohol pad, instead I used a lens cleaner and the reason behind this is - I did not want to remove the protective coating that the manufacturer of the screen puts on most glass screens. I felt like the lens wipe would be more gently and preserving of this coating.All things considered, even though it would be nice if you got 2 of these for the price, I still believe it is a good value and product.
